We've had the pleasure of rehearsing at As Above Studio with two of our other projects, and bringing UltraMel over was an absolute no-brainer. Liam and his team are incredibly professional and genuinely wonderful people to work with. Everything is always prepared before we arrive — it's literally plug in, quick sound check, and we're good to get cracking. After Agatha has used As Above Studios as our rehearsal space for several months, and the experience has always been extremely pleasant and professional. The team are always happy to accommodate with available times, with PA and in-ears setups, and have fully functional equipment available including multiple monitors, a skeleton drum kit and a variety of guitar and bass amps and cabs. All your band rehearsal needs are catered for at a reasonable hourly rate. Highly recommended to any bands looking for a sweet space to make noise!

We started looking for a practice space when weekends became too busy and we couldn't make too much noise on weekdays. Then we found As Above Studios and we've been practicing there for a few months now. We can honestly say it's been a great space for the band to experiment and get some solid practicing sessions in, especially on weekdays, allowing the band to free up weekends to pursue other things. The studio location is ideal for bands located in the Westrand and Midrand area. They have a full console and skeleton drum kit for you to use and can accommodate you whether you need monitors or run your in-ear monitoring system. The practice space has a great aesthetic feel so recording video content there is an added bonus. Liam and his team know what they are doing and are always friendly to work with. If you're looking for a studio to practice or record at we highly recommend giving AAS a chance. You won't regret it.
